I wish they had gone back to them actually fighting vampires and the like. I've read many tomes of vampires and etc with reasoning behind it. But this kind of thing - with some infection that causes it... It does sort of fit - and thankfully the book doesn't really try to explain the while thing away. But I wish they had kept the entire thing just as vampires. The story seems relatively followable. I like the vampires - but when it crosses over like this, it's sort of crazy. For some reason, the speaking bubbles bothered me in the comic. They stuck out - like they were attached later. But it is still a fairly great book.
From last month...
The crossover continues here. What a great idea to get the two books to crossover from one story to another - and get kids to connect the dots. It's an unfortunate ending to the crossover - that he took off after the battle - but at least it's not the typical superheroes misinterpreting each other. It's more than likely the best idea that it was used with Sub-Mariner. Although the art is worse, the story is pretty cool. Nice battle in these pages. Cool crossover. The Hulk story... Ugh. I really don't like the Hulk very much. The trend is changing - it's fair. But much below other books. Do we need all of this Betty Brant stuff?
