One colossal train wreck is coming. Psi-Lords lasted ten issues - which is two more than the Geomancer saw - but I don't know why so much of Valiant was turning into a whirling mess at the time. These issues, while the art seems a little foolishly realistic, isn't bad at all. Sadly, the industry had reached its crumbling point. Of course all of the darkest foreshadowing led to Rai being taken over, and next issue, will come his demise. What I really didn't see was the spy being Asa. And his easy slaughter. Funny, though, was Magnus's line just after. Death comes so often, it's inconsequential now. AHEM!
HERE we go.
So much better in this comic. SO much better. Stan and Jack are FINALLY doing so much here. First - great cover. Like it a bunch. Second - fun guest star. DD is a cool dude - and while underused here, it's nice to see. Third - the story CONTINUES into the next issue. It can be SO complex if split. Third - bringing back a great villain. Doom's the best. REAL consequences - and training for responses. Losing powers are some of the real consequences of changes - and making the team deal is great.
