Before I go much further - I LOVE the variant cover below. Mads took to the cubecraft a few months ago. And does anyone have a link of sorts to these patterns? Big miss if there isn't one! The story was pretty good - and I think everyone knew that Superstar was going to meet his great demise here. It's not really saying much when a comic loses HARD Corps - but I did like that he went down in the blaze of glory - and lost it all. I am liking the developing relationships - and know that something else is behind all of the characters. But characters that are burning so brightly would more than certainly embrace whatever might be behind them - and in front of them. And that all comes out next issue. But I kind of hope that the burning may be done on killing HARDCorps - at least for a little while. I am starting to really like these characters. One last thing - great parallel at the beginning of the book parallelling Superstar's
Really come a way.
The changes in Justice have really helped it survive. While I'm not saying he's a lot more than a different turn on the Punisher, the comic came a long way since it re-wrote its own origins. Even the re-transcript of the series - and some re-setting for the plot - and connection to paranormals ans his justice of them really helped. The comic followed an extremist religious cult - and many real quotable moments in this comic. Cool stuff and easy to follow. Even the suggestions of those without sin - and the calls back - yes - were terrifying. The change-over at the end was particularly dark, too. Loved the comic.
