What a great comic. This felt more and more like the Archer & Armstrong of old. Fred Van Lente has jumped into these shoes and filled it up. And Khari Evans - whom I was certainly critical of during the initial Harbinger run way back at the beginning has filled the pages well. Even though ChrisCross has 'assisted' on some of the art (I'm looking at YOU - bottom panel of first page) the consistent feel of the art has made me reminiscent of the BWS era. It isn't in the style of the art - but has that rough polished feel like the old BWS pages. The story was what to come back to on the pages, though. I'm not normally up for summaries - so don't look for it here. But the change (while not yet complete) in both Mary and Archer has taken the story beautiful directions. Great re-establishing the connection between both Archer AND Armstrong - at both sides. Both characters had their separation - between themselves - and through the quick looks back, Archer reconnected with his possible losses, and then supported him. Then, Armstrong made it known that he connected back. While the 'hashish' personnel were a little too extreme - the response from the team after - and the suggestion to get burritos - priceless changes. And the worshiping of Archer as a big move - ignoring Armstrong. Beautiful.
